Focus on Chianti and cigars to the fifth edition of the festival “Primera Emocion”, starts this Friday in Ischia. Fans coming from all over Europe will gather on the island for a weekend of “slow smoking” and beyond. Renewed the partnership with the Consorzio Vino Chianti, who returns to the appointment as a key player in several events scheduled during the event. Friday at 6pm at the restaurant Zi Nannina on Lido di Ischia there will be a tasting of a vintage ‘Hoyo de Monterrey Churchill “in pairing with three different Vin Santo del Chianti, progressing from one year older to the younger, who will be same age as the cigar: Vin Santo del Chianti DOC 1997 – Tenuta Il Corno; Vin Santo del Chianti d.o.c. “Malmantico” 2000 – Tenuta San Vito; Vin Santo del Chianti d.o.c. “Caratello” 2001 – Pietro Beconcini. The experience will be led by one of the most important collectors of Habanos of Europe, Antonio Peraino, and Luca Alves, of the Consorzio Vino Chianti.
Saturday, from 7 pm at the Divina di Borgo Sant’Angelo, the Chianti will be a headliner in two parts: a special “Smoked aperitif”, where a young vintage of 2015 (specifically wine, a Chianti DOCG “San Vito” in 2015 – Tenuta San Vito) will be proposed to be served fresh that revised form of “Chianti Cocktail” and in combination with a short-smoked cigar, or the Montecristo Media Corona. Then, it will follow the gala dinner, entirely based on fish, created by Cristian Torsiello starred chef, which will conclude with the launch of the European premiere and exclusive Montecristo cigar 80 anniversary. For each course of the dinner, there will be the combination of a d.o.c.g Chianti: Chianti Montalbano d.o.c.g. 2015 – Tenuta Cantagallo, Chianti Superiore d.o.c.g. “Cerretello” 2012 – Pieve de ‘Pitti, Chianti d.o.c.g. Reserve “Rio Camerata” 2009 – Fattoria di Piazzano.
