Chianti Academy - Consorzio Vino Chianti

To fully understand wine, especially when it comes to products that are very traditional and linked to the culture of places like ours, tasting alone is not enough; you have to combine passion with study.

This is why, after ten years of intensive institutional promotional experience in the most far-flung countries of the world, the Consortium, having realised the importance of this tool, decided to invest in it.

The “Chianti Academy” project consists of a professional master’s degree organised over four intensive days divided into two sessions, during which all the technical and historical characteristics of the D.O.C.G. Chianti are explained.

The various lessons, held by our Wine Ambassador, in collaboration with local professionals, will touch on the extensive topics of History, Culture, Costume, Viticulture and Oenology, Food and Wine, Wine Marketing and Communication, accompanied by comprehensive technical tasting sessions, of course.

Over thirty different labels will be selected to represent all the currently possible production categories of Chianti.

We have designed a special “Chianti Lovers Kit” for all wine lovers participating in the Academy. The kit consists of a limited-edition box containing all the study and work tools, tailor made for the perfect Chianti Lover!
