San Jacopo is an agricultural estate the rises from the undulating Tuscan hills, close to the city of Florence, amid rural scenery that is highlighted by its ancient stone walls that denote boundaries, quaint country roads that lead to farmhouses, geometric shaped vineyards and olive groves interspersed with Tuscany’s iconic cypress trees. The property boasts 50 hectares of grounds where olive groves and vineyards are cultivated to produce a prestigious extra virgin olive oil and an excellent Chianti wine in accordance with ancient agricultural traditions that have been passed down from generation to generation.
The farmhouse is set out in the country, far from the noisy hustle and bustle of the city but at the same time within easy reach of famous historic towns such as Florence, Siena and Arezzo. The estate is personally run by Aldo Pasquini and family, who oversee the production of its local produce as well as managing the farm holiday estate. For this reason guests are able to come into contact with the real Tuscan culture of farming and experience the “healthy Tuscan lifestyle”.
