Castello Di Poppiano, an impressive medieval building, is the traditional 11th century Guicciardini family estate in the Florentine Hills. For many centuries it has been the centre of the life and farming activity of the family.
The Estate owns 125 Ha of vineyards and 50Ha of olive groves producing Chianti Colli Fiorentini DOCG, other DOC and IGT wines and Laudemio Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The recently acquired Massi di Mandorlaia estate 54Ha produces Morellino di Scansano DOCG and the new Colpetroso Maremma Toscana IGT, together with the new Vermentino Maremma Toscana IGT. All products are estate bottled and our production potential is 1.5 million bottles.
