The winery is located in the heart of Chianti, between Arezzo and Florence and it takes its name from the seven bridges linking the banks of the Arno River between those two historical cities. And it is precisely this bridge, in this lovely corner of Tuscany, which was painted by Leonardo da Vinci as wallpaper of his Monna Lisa.
The estate was acquired by the Moretti Cuseri family in the ‘ 50s directly by the princesses Margaret and Maria Christina of Savoy and it still enjoys the excellent wines of the “Vineyard of the Empire”, planted by His Royal Highness Duke Amedeo d’Aosta in 1935 to celebrate the conquest of Abyssinia.
Fifty five acres planted to Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, which maintain the typicalness of the territory and reflect its characteristics to produce wines of high quality and elegance.
